Home Energy EfficiencyTeam has been hard at work in Clayton County
Over the last four weeks the Green Iowa Americorp (GIA) team has been hard at work conducting free home energy efficiency assessments all over Clayton County. Since February, the Clayton County Energy District has processed more than 40 requests for home energy efficiency assessments. Many of these assessments have been performed or are scheduled.
“We have observed a real need for assessments,” states program coordinator, Joleen Jansen. “The GIA team has been providing a great service to Clayton County residents. ”The response to the program has been so popular the partnering Winnesheik and Clayton County Energy Districts have decided to continue the home energy efficiency assessment program throughout the rest of the year. Beginning on Wednesday, April 12th the GIA Team will be in Clayton County conducting assessments on a biweekly basis.
