Enjoy Live Music and Some Drinks for a Great Cause on Thursday, June 6th!

The Clayton County Energy District invites you to Rhythm & Brews — a benefit concert for the Green Iowa AmeriCorps Decorah team at Deb’s Brewtopia in Elkader!

When: Thursday, June 6th | 6:30 – 8:30 pm

This will be a fun night of fundraising with great music 🎵

Anyone who donates $25 or greater to the REPLACE OUR RIDE campaign is welcome to attend- and your ticket includes a beer! Appetizers will also be included. Donations can be made online @ https://fundly.com/reliable-awd-vehicle-for-green-iowa-americorps or at the door.

The Decorah-based Green Iowa AmeriCorps team has served Clayton County for four years, completing home energy efficiency assessments, saving the average homeowner over $120 in utility bills annually. They have assisted over 100 homes in Clayton County and are often found completing environmental education activities at local schools and festivals. The team is fundraising to purchase a new, safe and reliable vehicle so they can continue to serve Clayton County residents for years to come. Featured musicians include the Green Iowa AmeriCorps members Kristin Eggen (singer) and Ben Hippen (keyboardist). Eggen & Hippen is a new soul pop duo out of the driftless region of the upper midwest. They put listeners in touch with a wide range of experiences: love, loss, astronomy, climate change, pirates and more.
