This year the Clayton County Energy District (CCED) is celebrating 10 years of local clean energy resilience work in Clayton County! CCED has several special events and publications planned to celebrate the last 10 years, kicking off with our first meat raffle fundraiser. The raffle will feature 4 rounds with 7 prizes in each round including 4 meat packages ($30 value), a free drink ticket, a gift card to Wilkes Grocery Store, and an energy related prize! Tickets for each round are $5 each. If you’ve never been to a meat raffle or have never heard of one don’t worry! They are fun, fast paced events and we’ll show you how they work. The raffle starts at 5:30 pm at Turkey River AXEperience in Elkader on November 6th. We hope to see you there!
