2020 Energy Efficiency Day at the Capitol
Joleen Jansen, Craig Mosher (Johnson County Energy District), and Jim Wolfe (Howard County Energy District), represented Clean Energy Districts of Iowa (CEDI) at the State Capitol on Tuesday, January 21st in Des Moines.
Jansen visited with State Representative Anne Osmundson, who listened on a broad level about empowering energy districts to perform impartial energy audits for Iowa’s ratepayers.
Listeners of CEDI were able to hear how energy districts are champions of energy efficiency measures by putting boots on the ground in local energy districts. When Iowans save on their power bills, they have more to invest in the local economy and are simultaneously reducing carbon emissions. That’s Green meets Green!
