The Clayton County Energy District extends appreciation to Randy Lenth for his service on the Board since 2018. Randy brought valuable experience from his work as a city manager and member of a municipal power agency in Minnesota where he helped oversee utility projects and contributed to the development of community solar policies. As Vice Chair, his practical perspective and steady, rational approach added useful grounding to board discussions over the years.
Randy’s efforts to help CCED secure community grants were an important contribution during several of our initiatives. His connection to the community and experience with clean energy development added a unique perspective. Beyond advocacy through the CCED Board, Randy and his wife Lisa also installed clean energy resources on their own business, implementing efficiency upgrades and installing a rooftop solar array at the St. Olaf Tavern.
We thank Randy for the time, talent, and thoughtful participation he offered during his years with CCED, and we wish him well in his continued service to the community.
