Thank You, Jenna Van Meeteren – Board Member, Clayton County Energy District

Jenna Van Meeteren has served on the Clayton County Energy District Board since 2023 and was instrumental in linking conservation and clean energy through her leadership as Executive Director of the Clayton County Conservation Board.

The Clayton County Energy District extends a heartfelt thanks to Jenna (Pollock) Van Meeteren for her dedicated service on the CCED Board since 2023.

A native of Clayton County and Executive Director of the Clayton County Conservation Board, Jenna has served as a bridge between conservation and clean energy leadership. Her initiative and partnership were instrumental in establishing the Clayton County Energy District Coordinator position—the first Clean Energy District Network staff role embedded within a county government office. This innovative collaboration strengthened the Energy District’s local impact and capacity for community outreach.

Living near Volga on her family farm, Jenna brings a deep-rooted appreciation for land stewardship and rural vitality. Her leadership both through CCED and her service on the Empower Rural Iowa Grow Task Force continues to inspire efforts that connect energy efficiency, conservation, and economic opportunity across Clayton County.

We thank Jenna for her vision, collaboration, and lasting contributions to the clean energy movement in her home county.
