Do You Want to Learn More About Solar?

The Winneshiek Solar Fair will take place Saturday, March 21st from 9 am to noon!

This is a family-friendly event and the perfect place to get all your solar questions answered– whether you’re a farmer, homeowner, or business owner. Federal tax credits, combined with increasing solar panel productivity and rising electricity rates, make 2020 a great year to go solar! The Solar Fair will have helpful information for you, regardless if you just became curious about solar options, or if you are ready to hire a contractor.

“If you’ve been on the fence, it’s time to give solar a serious look. Prices have never been better, and the tax credit is only around for one more year. Come see how solar can work for you; and meet with our local, experienced contractors ready to get to work.”

Local solar contractors Decorah Electric, Blake Electric, Tom Massman Construction, Perry Novak Electric and Eagle Point Solar will be present to answer questions and talk to customers.  Andy and Joel from the Energy District will lead a variety of workshops. Workshop topics will include Solar tech 101, Financials and Incentives, and Solar Q&A.

The GreenIowa AmeriCorps team will have fun activities for the kids so bring the whole family! Refreshments will be available to purchase from The Sassy Baker.

This event is generously sponsored by Decorah Bank and Trust.
