Jessica Engelking lives in Elkader with her partner, dog and cat. She works remotely for Great Plains Action Society, an Indigenous nonprofit. The work being done by the Clayton County Energy District complements GPAS’s Land Defense Initiative. Jessica is originally from northern Minnesota but moved to Iowa many years ago to complete her M.A. in Philosophy at the University of Iowa.
