Energy Burden Relief Event coming to Keystone AEA
On Friday, February 17th, we are hosting an Open House & Listening Post for
Clayton County’s Energy-Burdened Residents and our Local Leaders
at Keystone AEA in Elkader.
This event will showcase local and clean energy success stories, provide opportunities to speak with energy experts and clean energy contractors, and share resources available to relieve energy burdens (i.e. utility rebates, Inflation Reduction Act incentives, 30% Renewable Energy Tax Credits and more).
Our goal is to connect severely energy-burdened residents, local leaders, and elected officials to beneficial electrification and locally owned renewable energy programs, especially the promising Inflation Reduction Act programs. We want to build relationships with locals who endure execessive energy burdens by listening to their stories and helping them calculate their energy burden rate. Local leaders and elected officials will witness the energy district’s effort and mission and have time to visit with clean energy folks, plus visit with their constituents.
Community members are also openly invited to share their personal energy burdens or clean energy success stories.
As always, this is a FREE event!
