The Clayton County Energy District

The CCED is a newly formed non-profit organization committed to building community. By facilitating a local, clean & fair energy movement, we are, in part, stimulating our local economy and sustaining the planet for our kids.

The three prongs of our overarching “building community” mission are:

  • To positively affect the local economy by retaining & reinvesting energy dollars.
  • To positively impact climate change through the promotion of wise energy use.
  • To facilitate equal access to clean local energy.
